MBO CoBo-Stack 30i

The MBO CoBo-Stack 30i builds on the capabilities of our CoBo-Stack 10i, offering enhanced efficiency and safety. Equipped with three safety sensors, the CoBo-Stack 30i monitors a 1.5-meter radius around it. When no human is detected in this zone, the robot operates at full industrial speed. If a human approaches, it automatically switches to a slower, collaborative mode.

This innovative system transports product stacks, such as folded signatures, from the delivery point to the CoBo-Stack 30i’s table. The cobot then picks up stacks weighing less than 5 kg and places them on pallets, eliminating the need for manual lifting and reducing physical strain on operators.

The CoBo-Stack 30i supports uninterrupted workflow by allowing pallets to be placed on both sides. While one pallet is being filled, the operator can replace the full pallet on the other side and prepare a new one, ensuring continuous operation.

An indicator light and acoustic signals provide real-time updates on the machine’s status. This allows operators to step away from the machine to handle other tasks such as quality control or order preparation, enhancing overall productivity.

The CoBo-Stack 30i is compatible with stack deliveries from a wide range of manufacturers, making it versatile and adaptable. It optimizes stack transfer speed and integrates seamlessly with folding machines, ensuring efficient and comprehensive networking.

Renowned for its high performance and load capacity, the CoBo-Stack 30i is ideal for use behind a saddle stitcher or perfect binder. However, its mobility and autonomous design make it suitable for a variety of palletizing tasks across the industry.

Recent Innovations:

  • Like most MBO machines, the MBO CoBo-Stack 30i can be set and controlled using the familiar MBO M1 control system with touch screen. The user interface is user-friendly, clear and intuitive.
  • The CoBo-Stack 30i operates at a cycle time of 450 packs per hour, exceeding the speed of most production lines.
  • The CoBo-Stack 30i works autonomously and is therefore suitable for use on stack-dispensing deliveries from a wide range of manufacturers. The CoBo-Stack 30i can be used to optimize the transfer speed of the stacks and create a comprehensive network with the folding machine.
  • Stacking height increase up to 140 cm (55“) achieved by a height-adjustable robot arm, reducing pallet quantity and saving time and money
  • For A/B split, double stream production it is now possible to alternately stack both pallets at the same time
