DFT 23 Buckle Folder (23")

The DFT 23 is MBO’s core buckle folding technology adapted for use as a module with high speed rollfed finishing systems, able to process the most popular widths (up to 23”) in the inkjet market. This versatile folder module can perform multiple folds along with slitting, perfing and scoring through use of the integral slitter shaft at the exit of the buckle plates. The folder is in synch to fold any length sheet from 5″ to 50″ coming from MBO’s SVC sheeting system. This design harnesses the true value of a completely variable digital printing system. Operation of the folder is intuitively easy and uses MBO’s M1 controls technology, and includes many fast makeready features such as MBO’s exclusive slitter shaft cassette and quick release slitter shafts for rapid job changes and adjustments.
