MBO CoBo-Stack 10i
The MBO CoBo-Stack 10i is a versatile palletizing solution designed for industrial applications. Utilizing a collaborative robot (cobot) that operates without a protective cage, it streamlines the process of handling product stacks, such as folded signatures. The cobot transports stacks (weighing less than 8 kg) from the delivery point to its table and then places them on pallets, relieving operators from physical labor.
To ensure uninterrupted operation, pallets can be placed on both sides of the CoBo-Stack 10i. As one pallet is being filled, operators can move the full pallet to the other side and prepare a new one, maintaining a continuous workflow.
The CoBo-Stack 10i is equipped with indicator lights and acoustic signals to communicate its various operating statuses. This feature allows operators to focus on other tasks, such as quality control or order preparation, without needing to constantly monitor the machine.

The CoBo-Stack 10i operates autonomously and is compatible with stack-dispensing deliveries from numerous manufacturers. It enhances the transfer speed of stacks and integrates effectively with folding machines, creating a comprehensive network for efficient operation.
Versatile Application
Designed to handle stacks from saddle stitchers and perfect binders, the CoBo-Stack 10i is adaptable to various production needs. Many customers position the cobot directly behind the outfeed of their saddle stitchers or perfect binders. Once a task is completed, the CoBo-Stack 10i can be easily repositioned for use behind a folding machine delivery, offering flexibility and efficiency in palletizing tasks.
Recent Innovations:
- M1 machine control: Like most MBO machines, the MBO CoBo-Stack 10i can be set up and controlled using the familiar MBO M1 control system with touch screen. The user interface is user-friendly, clear and intuitive.
- The CoBo-Stack 10i operates at a cycle time of 300 packs per hour and therefore integrates seamlessly into the speed of most production lines.
- The CoBo-Stack 10i works autonomously and is therefore suitable for use with stack-dispensing deliveries from a wide range of manufacturers. The A80 delivery from MBO was developed specifically for use with the CoBo-Stack 10i. It can be used to optimize the transfer speed of the stacks and establish comprehensive networking with the folding machine.
